Meredith Kinsey
Prior to opening Postcard from Paris with Linda McDougald, Meredith Kinsey served
as executive director of marketing for a rapidly growing communications company.
She also spent six years with MCI’s Business Markets division, during which time
she developed and managed the execution of comprehensive corporate marketing and communications
plans to support significant strategic corporate initiatives of the global company. Meredith’s past
experience also includes direct sales as well as computer software and hardware
training and support.
Her contributions to Postcard from Paris lie in the development and execution
of strategic marketing initiatives of the company, including public relations,
advertising, and Web strategy, as well as business operations, human resources, IT, and financial
aspects of the business.
An active member of the Greenville community, Meredith currently serves on the GHS Children’s Hospital Development Council,
serving as 2008-2009 chair and 2007-2008 co-chair. She is a volunteer for the American Diabetes Association’s
Camp Independence and formerly served on the local leadership council of the American
Diabetes Association. She is a co-founder of Moonlight & Magnolias, an event
benefitting the American Cancer Society, and co-founder
of For Our Children, a non-profit organization supporting the children of the
Upstate. Meredith is also active in the West End
merchant’s group, promoting business and success in Greenville’s historic West
End district.
Hobbies include cooking, reading, playing tennis, cycling, running, cheering on the Gamecocks,
and spoiling her nephews as well as active involvement in her church. She is also a freelance marketing consultant and copywriter.
Meredith holds a BA in psychology from the University of South Carolina, where
she graduated cum laude and with honors from South Carolina Honors College.
